Updated 15 October 2026. This notice covers the Arete Digital company website and enquiries. The separate photo-processing service has its own Passport Studio privacy and retention notice. Analytics consent on this company site does not enable analytics in Passport Studio.

Visiting the website
Microsoft Azure hosts this site and may process technical request information, such as IP address, requested URL, time and browser information, to deliver and secure it. The company homepage also requests its styling from the Tailwind CDN and its Angular logo from angular.io; those services receive the network information necessary to supply those resources. The product and privacy pages use locally served styling.
We rely on our legitimate interests in providing a functioning, secure website for necessary delivery and security processing. Optional analytics is separate and requires your consent. Rejecting analytics does not prevent access to the website or product information.
Email enquiries and earlier consultation submissions
The consultation form is retired. Contact links open your mail application; this site does not submit an enquiry form or store a new consultation record. When you email us, our email providers process the address, message and information you choose to include so we can respond.
We use enquiries to take steps you request before a service agreement, perform an agreement where applicable, and pursue our legitimate interest in responding to other correspondence. We keep correspondence as needed for the enquiry, related follow-up and applicable legal obligations. Do not email photos, identity documents, payment details or session credentials.
Records submitted through the earlier consultation form may still exist in private Azure storage. Removing the form does not delete those historic records. They can include your name, email, company, message, submission-page URL and submission time. Contact us to ask about access or deletion; no automatic expiry is claimed for those existing records.
Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics is off until you choose Accept analytics. We do not load its tag or send analytics events before that choice. If you accept, Google processes analytics identifiers and information about page visits, interactions, browser/device characteristics and network location to help us understand use of this company site. Google receives network information when your browser contacts it.
Our configuration disables Google signals and advertising personalization, removes query strings and fragments from the page location we explicitly send, and limits new analytics cookies to 30 days without renewing that expiry on each visit. Google's server-side analytics retention is a separate account setting; cookie expiry or withdrawal does not erase information already sent. Contact us for information about retention or to exercise your data rights.
Your analytics choice is stored in this browser's local storage for up to 180 days, after which we ask again on a subsequent visit. That storage is used only to remember the choice. You can change it at any time using Cookie & analytics settings in the footer. Rejecting analytics disables it, removes this site's Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page if its tag was already loaded.
If browser storage is unavailable, we cannot remember consent and keep analytics off until a choice can be saved. Google Analytics may also be blocked by your browser or network; this does not affect the service. See Google's privacy policy.
Service providers and international transfers
Our hosting and email providers, and Google if you accept analytics, may process data outside the European Economic Area. Their applicable data-protection terms describe international-transfer safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where applicable. See the Microsoft data-protection addendum and Google data-processing terms. Contact us for details about the safeguards relevant to your data.
Your rights and complaints
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw analytics consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Rights are subject to legal conditions, and we may need proportionate information to locate a record and establish your entitlement.
Email support@aretedigital.ee; we aim to reply within two business days. Do not send sensitive identity documents unsolicited. You may complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate or your local data-protection authority.
